Movie countdown from Russ Gossett on Vimeo.

The countdown has begun for the 6th Annual Landlocked Film Festival.

 { I am so excited! }

Over 200 movies from around the world were submitted and reviewed.

60 films were selected

~  full-length, short, documentary, animated, kid-friendly, international ~

Starting on Thursday, Oct 25 thru Saturday, Oct 27, movies can be viewed at The Englert Theatre, The U of I Bijou, and the Iowa City Public Library – the schedule is being arranged as I type.

What I find most fascinating is that the films come from all over the world – NOT just from our little corner in Iowa, USA.

Selected films originate from:

California, Iowa, Wisconsin, New York, North Carolina, Washington, Missouri
Afghanistan
Ukraine
Argentina
Spain
Denmark
Germany
Canada
Israel
Haiti
India
Japan
Italy
UK
A few trailers can be viewed HERE.
Follow our blog to see the final viewing schedule, interviews with the film makers, sneak peaks and more!
We look forward meeting the film makers that join us in Iowa City in October. We look forward to the record turn-out in attendance. We look forward to seeing the films on the big screen. We look forward to the 6th Annual Landlocked Film Festival! In 38 days!
